About Dr Tim
Dr Tim Scrivener provides focused skin cancer and melanoma assessments with an emphasis on early detection, careful assessment and clear communication. He cares for patients in Norwest, the Hills District and greater Sydney.
Dr Tim is passionate about primary care dermatology and skin cancer checks, diagnosis and treatment. He completed his medical training at the University of Sydney, and is a RACGP trained specialist GP. He has undertaken further postgraduate training including a Master of Medicine – Skin Cancer.
He focuses on the early detection, diagnosis, and surgical management of skin cancer, with an emphasis on careful clinical assessment and evidence-based practice. He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and is committed to ongoing education in skin cancer medicine.
His approach to patient care emphasises clear communication, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and helping patients feel informed and confident in their care.

Outside of medicine, Tim enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his two sons. Whether surfing, hiking, hunting, trail bike riding or heading off on new adventures, he values the connection, perspective and balance that come from time outdoors with family.
